Words, words come out I pray
Within my head you can not stay
All rhyming words must go away

Long, long the whole night through
Within my head you churn and stew
I’m so tired this just won’t do

Breathe, breathe its too much to bare
Within my head you push, you glare
so many words at me do stare

Sleep, sleep that’s what I need
Within my head I beg and I pled
Please give me peace, just let me be

Get up, get up that’s what they say
Within my head they  romp and play
I’ll get no  sleep, no not today

Sigh, sigh I’ll just give in
Within my head a poem begins
The rhyming words – again they win
